She Speaks!

I know I know, she is too young to talk, but she really does think she is already! I coo with her all day long and she laughs and smiles when I speak her language! She is so cute, this video isn't the best but it's what I have caught so far! She is not a fan of the video camera, she likes my undivided attention!

Six Flags

Greg's office won a challenge, so they won a trip to Six Flags!! It was a lot of fun to go and hang out. Most of you that know me know that I am anything but a thrill seeker! But I do enjoy watching, when I lived in California when I was younger, one of my favorite memories was going to Disneyland with my grandparents (thank you grandma and grandpa!) It was fun to remember those times, and be in that atmosphere again. Greg had an awesome time riding the roller coasters, he is one of those crazy guys that loves theme parks! I can't wait until next summer when I get to take Halle and Greg to Disneyland!

These were the days

Lately I have thought if the many things that I miss. Rock Creek, I basically grew up there, and it will always hold a sweet place in my heart!
Shanny Butt, she is on a mission right now and there is nothing I want to do more than talk to her on the phone, at least! We were always in trouble (or at least I was because she blamed everything on me!) If you know Shannon, once she is in your life, she is contagious! You need her smiling face all the time!
Our crazy family time, it's amazing while you are growing up how often you are trying to get away from your family, and then you move away and you spend the rest of your life trying to get back together with them! My family is amazing and I am so thankful that my mom fostered the relationships between my siblings! I love them, all of them!

I miss this Gal!

I know that you look at this a lot (karadie) and I just wanted you to know that I miss you! We had some good times, and I know that we have a lot more fun times to go! I feel so blessed to have you in my life and I consider you a sister! It's funny I used to explain the relation between us, "greg's brothers wife..." but now I just say my sister! We have seen each other through the good and the bad, and the ugly (running!) Even though I miss you so much you are constantly in my stories and thoughts! Thank you for always being there for me, I love you!

Flop Off

Greg's office decided to have a belly flop contest, and it was very amusing! Greg ended up tying for second place! That's my baby!

Summer Fest

One of our favorite things is to be outside! (well me at least I am teaching Halle to love it as well!) There is a park really close to me and they have a lot of concerts there, so we like to go and sit on the lawn and relax! Peyton, Brooke and Travis's little girl is just a bundle of happiness! She is so happy all the time, and such a good sport! On this particular time we were spinning around and she loved it!

Father's Day

This is Greg opening his gifts! Halle wasn't very into it, she just thought like normal we were there to amuse her!

This is Halle playing Hide and go seek with her dress, we are working on her not lifting up her dress.

We had a fantastic Father's day, it was so nice to hang out with Greg (like every Sunday!) Halle and I spent the whole day on Saturday getting ready for Father's day. We cleaned the house and baked cookies, and finished Greg's present! When I was writing in Greg's card I was trying to trace Halle's feet, she wouldn't sit still! I looked at her and said "Halle, cooperate." She looked at me and gave me the biggest smile and then started giggling.
In the end we made Greg a book on shutterfly and a framed impression of Halle's feet. He told me when I gave him that gift and I quote... "It's better than my car!" (meaning the 68 charger) I said what! That's a lot easier! He is so sweet, and such a wonderful Dad!

Blessing Day

We had a wonderful day when we were able to bless little Halle. Greg and I both flew in from Milwaukee, I first went to Idaho and then we met on Saturday in Salt Lake. It was a wonderful trip and the blessing made it all worth it. Halle was her normal beautiful self, she slept most of the time! After being held by so many, she gets tired.

I would be very ungrateful if I didn't say thank you to my Grandma and Mom, for making this beautiful gown for my precious daughter to wear. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted my mom to make the blessing gown because it is such a special event. As it got close to the blessing day, I started looking online to buy a dress because I didn't want to ask my mom because she has arthritis in her hands, and I didn't want it to hurt her. I was browsing one day and found a blog of a lady that had made a gown and I immediately fell in love with it. I showed my mom, and because she is amazing, she asked if I wanted her to make it. I started crying because it was so important to me, and in a jif my mom had bought the fabric and the pattern. It happened to also fall on the weekend of my brothers graduation so my Grandma (my mom's mom) was in town, she is an excellent seamstress as well! They both worked so hard on this dress and it turned out to be more than I could ask for. I love you Grandma! I love you Mom, someday I hope to be half the mom you are!

Everything was a hit and what was more cool, was the fact we were able to bless her on the same day that Karadie and Paul blessed Alex. Karadie and I have become so close, and we hope that our children will be close as well (after all we were pregnant together, and they were born in the same month) but it meant a lot to me that we were able to share that day together. I love you Karadie.

Last but never least I have to thank Devan for preserving these memories in her photos! I am so grateful to have a sister that is able to capture all the moments that I hold so special in my heart! Thanks Devan, I love you!

Summer Lovin Our Utah Trip

Karadie went to look for some glasses for Alex, because the sun is so bright for that fair skinned kid! When we found these we just couldn't resist! Don't they look RAD!

These little ones are beach babies! Even though it wasn't to terribly warm outside they loved being in the pool. We had so much fun with Alex and Karadie. Alex was so funny because it was so bright outside he could hardly open his eyes! These two love spending time together (or they will someday!)

This picture isn't to show how fair skinned Alex is, it's to show that he is rockin' the mullet!! He is so cute!

Even though Halle is screaming in this one she really does just LOVE the water! She always has, when she starts moving we are really going to have to watch her close when we get near water.

And finally the two friends! They don't quite know each other exists yet, but they are two peas in a pod! Karadie and I often have the same stories to tell each other, it is weird how similar these two are! After all they were supposed to be two months apart, and they insisted on being born in the same month!

Sneaky Sneaky

Greg and Halle think they are so sneaky sometimes! I don't want her to get into the habit of seeping with us, but sometimes it is to cute! Greg just loves his little girl so for the 24 hours he was in Utah on our trip they spent every moment together.
